Retirement Runner Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates the Retirement Runner mobile app and website at retirementrunner.com. We are the data controller for personal data processed under this notice.

2. What data we collect
Data you provide
- Support contacts: if you choose to contact us for support — via the in-app support form or directly by email — we receive your email address and the content of your message. No registration or contact details are required to use the app.
Data we collect automatically
- Crash reports (optional): if you opt in, anonymised crash and diagnostic data is collected via Firebase Crashlytics (Google). You can change this at any time in the app settings.
All other data you enter — your plan, incomes, balances, expenses, and projections — is stored on your device only.

We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or profiling.
4. Who we share data with
Where we receive personal data, it is handled only by the following:
- Our support email provider — receives the content of support messages you send us; used solely to enable us to reply
- Google (Firebase Crashlytics) — receives anonymised crash and diagnostic data if you have opted in; governed by Google's privacy policy
We do not sell your data. We do not share identifiable data with advertisers.
5. The website
The Retirement Runner website is served via Cloudflare Inc. for performance and availability. Cloudflare Inc. may process your IP address as part of standard content delivery. No tracking scripts, advertising cookies, or analytics tools are used on the website.
6. How long we keep your data

7. Security
All communications with us use industry-standard encryption. Plan data is stored on your device and protected by your device's own security settings.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Port your data in a machine-readable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. to opt out of crash reporting via the app settings)

9. Cookies and tracking
The Retirement Runner website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The app does not use cookies.

We will notify you of material changes via the app before they take effect. The current version is always available at retirementrunner.com/privacy and within the app.
